Life has a way of shaping each of us. Along the way, we develop strengths that help us navigate life's challenges, as well as patterns that may no longer serve us. I believe lasting change begins with understanding ourselves more fully.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, compulsive or addictive behaviors, substance use concerns, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and move toward the life and relationships you want.
My approach is warm, honest, and practical. I believe people grow when they feel both deeply understood and thoughtfully challenged. Many of the ways we think, feel, and respond developed for good reasons—they often began as ways to protect us, help us cope, or make sense of difficult experiences. Rather than judging those patterns, we'll work to understand them, recognize what is serving you well, and gently explore what may no longer be helping you. I believe honest conversations are most effective when they grow from genuine understanding. I'll work to know your story first, then help you recognize patterns and possibilities that may be difficult to see on your own.
I use evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's needs, including CBT, ACT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Family Systems, and Narrative Therapy. I work primarily with older adolescents and adults (18+) and have extensive experience helping clients navigate mental health challenges.
Jeremy and I have been married since 2006 and are raising four children together. Balancing family life and its many joys and challenges has deepened my appreciation for resilience, growth, and meaningful connection—perspectives I bring into every session.
